PERSONALITY QUESTIONS
What skills does your character bring to the situation?
Wynonna's mother trained her in basic wilderness survival from an early age and could probably spend several nights in the woods (even with the extranormal dangers they possess- Purgatory's forest is full of demons and weirder things, and she and her mother spent many weekends camping out there. As much as she didn't enjoy these lessons, they did stick. She can hunt, track, set traps, find her way through the woods without a compass.
Wynonna has some pretty extensive hand-to-hand combat skills via Xavier Dolls's training, and won't hesitate to throw herself into a scrap, whether or not it's a good idea.
She's an excellent marksman, with lessons from Doc Holliday himself, but she is arriving without Peacemaker. She might be decent with a slingshot if given the materials to make one.
She has exactly zero healthy coping strategies for herself, but will probably eventually start seeking out surrogate little siblings and other connections, telling herself she needs to protect people, but just as much out of a need to keep herself connected, grounded and sane.
Why did you choose this specific character for 6I, and how do you picture them fitting into the game?
Wynonna is an extremely adaptable character in terms of where and how she can survive, and the idea of putting her somewhere without Peacemaker where she has to rely only on her own skills without the demon-killing gun sounds extremely fun to me.
She also has some Pressing Things that will have her extremely distressed about being away from home (namely, ending her family's curse to save her daughter from it) which I think will be a good building block for more emotional/personal CR.
Having Bobo Del Rey around for antagonism is pretty sweet to, not going to lie.
How do you imagine your character will survive in 6I, and in what ways will they contribute to the settlement, if any?
She'll probably take up a similar role to the one she plays in Purgatory, protecting more vulnerable people (or at least those she sees as more vulnerable) from the dangers of the environment or each other. She's a reluctant hero, but she'll take up the role when it's needed.
She'd also be willing to teach these skills to those who came here utterly unprepared.
Wynonna has spent most of her life running in one way or another, with her return to Purgatory on her 27th birthday marking the end to that. In the three years since then, she's slowly started to realize that she needs both a purpose and people to be a person that she likes looking at in the mirror.
Her story is probably always going to be one of redemption and growing in to responsibility. In the case of the game and potential CR, she'll very much need to feel she's earning her keep, since everyone else is in the same situation as she is, and she's used enough to being the Hero that falling in to a protective role will feel like something familiar in a place that's utterly alien.
She's also an extremely brash, headstrong and volatile person, and I wouldn't be playing her if I didn't love negative CR just as much as positive. She will get into and start fights, she will do stupid things in public, intoxicated or not, because she has no sense of shame or propriety.
She will probably get herself in over her head often enough to learn to ask for help more often. She's grown overconfident, now used to banishing demons to hell with a single shot between the eyes. She's used to being the protagonist, essentially, and learning to be part of a larger ensemble will have something of a learning curve.
How will your character react to...Being separated, possibly permanently, from loved ones and their previous life, including loss of powers, if applicable?
There will be a lot of panic. And probably some angst. She's also probably not above harassing the brown skunks to self-medicate in absence of a reliable liquor stash.
First and forefront in her mind is Alice. The daughter she's already given up to be raised in safety away from her- being torn from her reality means Alice will inherit the family curse when she turns 27, something Wynonna would readily die herself to keep from happening.
Coping (or failing to cope) with this will be her biggest challenge above all else.
Not having Peacemaker is the cherry on the crap sundae, but it's something she'll adapt to a lot faster than the thought that she's abandoning her daughter if she ever accepts that she's not going home.
Their environment being manipulated, possibly in strange or extraordinary ways, and possibly in ways which restrain them?
She's dealt with similar things in canon (including some time travel, sleeping through a large portion of her own pregnancy, giving birth on a pool table with a demon for a midwife, etc). Her first reaction will always be to fight, even if there's not something immediately obvious to fight.
If she can't fight, her focus goes to survival and the survival of others, even if they're really not her favourite people in the whole world. There's also something satisfying on a petty, passive-aggressive level about being able to say someone that hates you owes you their life.
Being physically and/or mentally manipulated, such as having hallucinations or suddenly possessing special abilities they did not have before?
She'd actually be pretty psyched to receive any sort of power, since she'll feel utterly useless without Peacemaker.
Hallucinations and manipulations will take a heavier toll if they happen often. While she's certainly had experience with mind-altering substances in her youth, even bad trips were choices for her. She's had enough people call her crazy in her life that having her sanity come in to question will be very, very difficult.
But fun as hell to write.

WRITING SAMPLES
SAMPLE 1
Why did you choose this sample? A run-in and half-assed fight between Wynonna and Bobo- this thread is pretty Canon Heavy and full of spoilers, but I feel the things she says and does here demonstrate her feelings about her sisters, and what she feels Bobo did to them- especially Willa.

SAMPLE 2
Why did you choose this sample? This one shows some of Wynonna's wilderness survival skills, as well as my ability to also use bracket prose for those who prefer it.
